Estate liens are handled a little differently in each state

You can do research to find the property owners least likely to pay their estate liens, but who wouldn't sell their property before losing it over a few thousand in back taxes. Estate liens are handled a little differently in each state, but they are essentially the debt that a property owner owes for late taxes. An investor is not required to attend the auction to make a purchase. Most sellers were smart enough to buy a piece of land or a property or a house and take title as what is called joint tenants with right of survivorship. Investors buy these, and to pay them off and so not lose their property, an owner must pay whatever fees and interest rate the law specifies. However, it is highly recommended that estate liens be bought in person over the counter to eliminate any confusion or error.
