No doc mortgage applicants should reconsider fixed interest rate mortgage options

If you are considering looking into a no doc mortgage, one in which no legal documentation is required, you may want to forego a fixed interest rate mortgage and look into variable interest rate options instead.  This is because as tradeoffs for relying on your credit history alone without verification that you work and own the assets you say you do, you generally will have to pay 2% more interest on your mortgage than you typically would.  Therefore, you want to always a approach a no doc mortgage with a clear picture of what you can afford to pay on a mortgage with high interest included.

Plan ahead and look into maternity health insurance before the time comes

Having a child can be more expensive past just the diapers and formula bills if you remember to count in your hospital bills for the actual birth and prenatal checkups as well.  This is why many people are on the lookout for inexpensive health insurance that also includes maternity health insurance.  One of the best tips that a woman who wants to have a baby can ever receive is to purchase her insurance policy before getting pregnant so that she receives full coverage.  This is because many policies will look at a pregnancy as a pre-existing condition and refuse to cover it.

So while

shooting the breeze with my brother, who has gotten big time into Quixtar and is getting to be quite the savvy businessman, I’ve learned some things.  First off, you can’t get ahead by doing what everyone else is doing, and that makes sense.  Who are you trying to get ahead of?  Everyone else.  Than you can’t do exactly what they’re doing, or you will never surpass them.  Also, since his owns his own business through Quixtar, he could set up a sep ira, and the sep ira maximum contribution cap is ridiculously high compared to what we get in our run of the mill 401k.  Another way to surpass the working stiff, eh?

Is There A Certain Amount That You Can Only Contribute To Your Ira?

Iras have limits on funds that you can make to them. Due to the cost of living, these amounts have been raised for the 2008 tax year and as long as the cost of living keeps going up, then the amounts for your Ira contributions will probably rise as well. The amounts for 2008 include a limit of five thousand dollars a year if you are under fifty years of age and six thousand dollars if you are over the age of fifty. These totals are for the year of 2008 and might change once the year turns over to 2009.

Cover yourself from sickness and unemployment

Even Russia’s financial market has hit rock bottom. If there were ever a time where we did not believe that we live in a global economy, this time has ended. What happens here in the great USA happens to the world. It’s a domino effect that can only be stopped by stabilizing our economy. A good way to help stop the bleeding is to obtain accident sickness and unemployment cover. Though this policy does not provide a way for money to circulate because it does not provide the vehicle that makes money circulate which is jobs, what this policy does is allow the bills to be paid so that the remaining markets do not collapse.

Rental property under the tax code

Rental of the entire property, by itself, does not change the residence-homestead status for homestead exemptions under Tax Code Section, where several definitions for terms used in Tax Code Section 11.13 are: “principal residence” is the owner’s primary or chief residence that the owner actually occupies on a regular basis; “temporary” refers to a limited or short absence of the owner from the residence homestead. Renters who qualify for the alternate credit are encouraged to calculate the credit using both the standard and alternate methods to determine which gives them the larger credit, where the larger credit should then be claimed.
