We’re off to Cancun the week after next so i need a good couple of bikinis and a coverup or two. The local stuff looked tired and the choice was blah. The yetserday the daily eMial from shopbop rolled in with 22 pages of swimwear and 12 pages of cover-ups in the latest swimwear - 2009. Talk about timely! Right off the bat I spotted a cute grommet Halter Bikini set by Lisa Curran. Halter top features contrast grommet detail at triangle cups. Straps tie behind neck and at back. Bottoms feature contrast grommets and tie at sides. Lined. 80% polyamide/20% elastane. It’s in mustardy yellow called “sun”. Very itsy-bitsy which I wanted. Not too bad at $ 176. Then I grabbed a Zimmerman Honey Rose bikini set. One-shoulder top features ruching and covered bamboo ring between cups. Boning at sides and slide-lock closure at back. Bottoms feature bamboo ring at side. Lined. Shell: 80% polyamide/20% elastane. Lining: 90% nylon/10% elastane. Coral Red but not so reanable. The Aussies are a little pricey but I love the cut. Anyway, the Sig O is so busy, he’s not checking bills!

The first thing that I need to do when I moved into my new house was to do something with the garden because it really was in a very bad state and I simply could not stand looking at it any longer. On the advice of a friend as part of my redesign I decided to install some recycled rubber edging, because this really did give the garden a very nice look indeed, and it was also fairly inexpensive into the bargain. I think I made the right decision.

As far as I’m concerned I do not mind spending money on stuff that I use in the kitchen because it is the most important room in the house for me, and I especially love having friends come to see me and spend time cooking meals and eating the food afterwards. The best thing about my kitchen is my Stainless Refrigerator, something which I spent an absolute fortune on which I am very proud of. Many of my friends comment on it because it is so big it really does stand out in the room, but it gives me lots of space to store my food and that is the main thing.

When I had my bathroom refurbished I decided that I really wanted to do something very different, and so I went straight down to my local bathroom show and looked at the display of Japanese Soaking Tubs because I thought it was exactly what my bathroom needed. Now that the tub has been installed I can see that I really did make the best decision possible, because it is really wonderful and I’m glad that I did it. I would recommend this approach to anybody looking for something different.

I have been doing a total refurbishment of my house over the past few months and although most rooms were quite easy to do the redecoration the bathroom caused quite a problem, and this was because I wanted to make it look very special. I took a lot of time deciding as to what will be the best thing to do but in the end saw that I really needed to get some cool looking Bathroom Pebble Tiles because these would enable me to do a really great job. I spent quite a lot of money on them but I’m really glad I did
